You Must Eat To Lose Weight

I'm back!!! It's been 3 weeks since I've written on the blog. My computer was in the hospital for two weeks getting an overhaul and last week I was dealing with a family emergency. But during this time I learned a very important lesson. What was it? ....

I've known and been told what seems like a zillion times, you have to eat enough calories or you will shut your metabolism down. I had hit a road block on my weight loss journey earlier in the month. My scales had stopped moving much for almost two weeks, I was down to losing a half a pound a week. So what did I do?  I lowered my calories. I knew better but it just seems logical to eat less to lose more .... WRONG!!!

One of the biggest drawback to SlimMax is it curbs your appetite so much it makes it to easy to lower your calorie intake. Please all SlimMax users make sure you are eating enough. Don't do what I did earlier in the month and stop eating.

If you need to control you appetite and cravings try SlimMax.

To begin with I'm an emotional eater. So last week as I went through a very emotional week dealing with a family emergency I went on an eating binge, will what would be considered a binge for me. I ate without thinking or carrying about calories.

As I've shared before, I weight in every Friday which I record on a calender.  So based on the past week of what I thought was over eating I was dreading getting on the scale today. I was so shocked at what I was seeing, I got off the scale and back on. WooHoo I had lost 2.5 pounds.

I'm going to take the lesson to heart and be aware fewer calories doesn't always translate to weight loss. You have to eat to lose weight. When you stop eating you send signals to your brain that your starving and it shuts your metabolism off which causes you to hang on to fat to live off later.

This reminds me it is almost 2 PM and I've not had lunch .... so my friends I'm going to end this post and EAT!

Until next time ... Have a great weekend!
