Weight Loss Buddy

Do you think having a weight loss buddy to keep you accountable is helpful?

Well, I definitely do!

Just this week I had the nicest lady asked me to be her weight loss buddy. I hope my encouragement and tips will help her stay focused on her weight loss goals. Actually I feel a little guilty. I just realized as I shared some tips with her, it also helped me remember where I was at emotionally and my early road blocks as I began my weight loss journey. So thank you Betsy, your my angel this week.

Another thing Betsy and I have in common is our love for God. She said she couldn't imagine a day without giving thanks to Him. I realized, I have never given thanks to God for my weight loss success and He deserves my thanks each day for keeping me focused. I believe all things come from the glory of God. Yes, even weight loss.

In writing an email to Betsy this morning I reflected back on the very beginning of my weight loss journey and my biggest road block in the beginning was wanting to eat when I wasn't hungry. I was definitely an emotional eater. It took me awhile to find away to deal with it.

How did I break the habit of eating when I wasn't really hungry? I started asking myself out loud ... "Am I really hungry"?. Then I would wait 20 minutes, almost every time I would end up not eating because I wasn't hungry, I just wanted to eat. I believe from the bottom of my heart I would have never been able to achieve moving past the "just wanting to eat" without the appetite and
craving control of SlimMax.

If you would like a diet buddy, I am always available to help support, share and encourage you, just send me an email at jmarlin@phtnetwork.com

It is amazing to me how the little things have helped me stay focused on this journey. I am also 100% convinced anyone serious about losing weight has to be mentally prepared.

Until Next Time ... Eat Healthy!
