I'm back! I was traveling yesterday and missed blogging.
I will be out of town for the next several days. Over the years our family as grown so much it is difficult to get us all together in December, so for the last couple years we celebrate Christmas with our extended family the first week in January. Will the next few days be hard for me to stay focused on my weight loss goals as all 30 of us gather for a full 2 days of partying? The answer is no, because I have SlimMax to help me keep on track with portion control.
I also use these tips on a consistent basis.
1) According to the National Weight Control Registry, 75 percent of successful dieters weighed themselves at least once a week. However, experts discourage weighing yourself multiple times a day. Your weight is bound to fluctuate during a 24-hour time period, so the scale may be misleading.
2) Be realistic, keep in mind that you gained the extra weight over many months—or possibly years—so you'll need sufficient time to take it off. Start small, and keep reminding yourself that the road to healthy weight management is a long-term commitment. If you have a lot to lose, set 10 pound goals.
Not only do I set 10 pound goals. I set goals for special occasion's, like vacation, birthday or a reunion.
Enjoy your day ... and tell a loved one, how much you appreciate them
