Did you know eating to few calories can cause weight gain? Well, I did and it's something I have to force myself to remember. This week I failed miserably. The scale ticked up 2 pounds because I didn't stay focused on eating 5 small meals a day to keep my metabolism moving. When you don't eat enough it puts your body into starvation mode, it hangs on to fat to live on later. As I look back over my food log there were several days this week I only consumed around 1200 calories and that isn't enough for my body type.
