The question I am asked the most is ... what is your best advice for losing weight? My answer always is the same, positive mindset. If you begin a journey to lose weight (especially if you have a lot of weight to lose like I did) with the mindset that your on a diet, you will never succeed.
When I stated on this journey I started with the mindset that time passes quickly, very quickly and if I didn't do something now I would be just as fat next week, next month and next year. If I hadn't taken action when I did another year of my life would be gone before I knew it. I would still be overweight and extremely unhealthy. Actually the real truth is I was on the road to an early death. From the very beginning I take one day at a time and set my goals in 10 pound increments.
When I lose each 10 pound increment I treat myself to something I love. In the beginning it was a sandwich on white bread but as I dropped 10 then 20 then 30 pounds my treats became something different. I stopped living for food and started enjoying other things in life, a new top or a new pair of smaller jeans. When I first started on my weight loss journey I told everyone when I lose a 100 pounds I am going to Bynum's Steakhouse (my favorite restaurant) for Steak & Lobster and I am going to keep that promise. The good news is I am only 15 pounds from enjoying a Steak & Lobster dinner.
I never think gosh I can't have that because I am on a diet. I have anything I want but in moderation. If I want a chocolate chip cookie I eat it but instead of eating 6 I eat just 1. If I want potato chips I take out a few and put the bag away. If I lived my life thinking I am on a diet I would have failed a long time a go.
Plus the key for me is SlimMax. I know I have said it before but it is worth repeating. Who can't lose weight if they are not hungry or suffer from cravings? SlimMax controls hunger and stops cravings. If you want to control your appetite and stop your cravings get some SlimMax today.
