Recently I have had more than one person say to me ... how do you stay on a diet?
My answer is ... diet what diet? I NEVER NEVER NEVER let it enter my mind I am on a diet. I sincerely don't feel like I am. I am only making wiser and healthier choices.
I found after a few months into my weight loss journey if I ever had the urge to over eat it was not because I was hungry. But because I would allow my brain to think about snacking on something high in calories or one of my favorite comfort foods.
I bet I am no different than most people. If you are honest with your self and will really think about it, you would admit, many times you eat out of habit more than because you are hungry.
It doesn't happen a lot anymore but if I do ever let those thoughts creep into my mind. I take a deep breathe and search deep into my soul (stomach) :) I always find the same answer. I am really not hungry it is all in my mind.
