Food As A Reward
My husband loves the Biggest Loser and even records it if we are going to be gone. Now for me I am the total opposite. I don't like it and won't even stay in the room when it is on. The reason I dislike it so much is because to me it is very unrealistic.
There is no way on God's green earth most people including me would be able to live up to the expectation of the trainer's on Biggest Loser. However, the other night when it was on I did stay in the room for a few moments and there is something one of the contestant said which really hit home with me. He made the comment he wouldn't be able to succeed if he wasn't in the proper mind set.
His statement made me realize mindset has a lot to do with everyone's ability to succeed. If you don't put yourself in the right mindset you will never have the determination to be successful losing weight or for anything else in life for that matter.
I have shared before I have struggled with my weight for over 35 years and have done everything known to man, including having my stomach stapled and nothing worked until SlimMax. However, I am 100% certain IF I didn't make sure each day I was in the proper mindset, I wouldn't be able to succeed either.
In the past there are many times I would eat, not because I was hungry but only because I wanted too and it usually was for comfort or to reward myself. If I had a day which was going to be full of running errands (which is a task I hate), I would get myself out the door by telling myself when I am done with all the errands I will eat lunch at McDonald's. I would even plan before I left what I was going to eat, a Big Mac, large fries and large Coke which is 1,350 calories in just one meal. Now with SlimMax controlling my appetite and cravings I don't even put those thoughts in my mind any longer.
Now I think about making better choices. Don't get me wrong on occassion I still eat at McDonald's but I eat a hamburger, small fries and a diet coke which is only 480 calories. Now that is a BIG DIFFERENCE in calorie consumption. You don't ever have to do without the foods you enjoy just make a wise decision in how much of it you eat.
If you have only a few pounds to lose or over 100's pounds you can do it with SlimMax and the proper mindset.
Until next time ... Keep Smil'n & Stay Healthy
